First off, thank you all for the help I've received thusfar. I only have a couple of little quirks to work out, and the emustation will be complete. One of those quirks has to do with the ProSystem emulator for the 7800. Whenever I initially load a game, the menu bar is at the top of the screen. Pressing the button I have mapped to escape takes me out of the emulator, and if I load the game again, the menu bar is gone. That's becasue the menu display is also set to ESC in the emulator itself. So when I go in a 3rd time, having pressed escape again to get out of the program, the bar is back. Is there any way I can resolve this? Thanks again for your help.

Well since ESCAPE is mapped in the emulator as well and you're probably mapping ESCAPE to exit in GameEx then it will always do that. This emulator from what I remember doesn't have the option to switch that. So the best thing to do is use an advanced config to cleanly close out of the emulator instead of mapping the ESCAPE button. The [Mapping Off] Exit (ALT+F4) config should work just fine.

After downloading again and trying out, you can just disable the menu each time from the command-line. Taken from the help file. LOL. :P

Your command-line should look as follows:

ProSystem.exe -Fullscreen 1 -MenuEnabled 0 "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"

Perfect. Thanks again!. I'm down to trying to get ePSXe to boot to the CD Rom drive and configuring some 100 MAME games for my controller and I'm good to go!.

EDIT: Just saw that you're in Albuquerque. I'm in Rio Rancho and was born and raised in Alb. Thanks for helping a fellow Albuquerque-ian!

No problem! Cool! That's about as close as it can get. Small world. ;)
