Hello everyone,

I've reinstalled my media center with windows 7.

I was using Atari800win plus and I was pretty happy with it.

But now, when it goes in full-screen (I tried PAL or NTSC) the color doesn't work as it's supposed to be. Green turn to pink, blue to yellow, etc... In the normal window, the color are fine.

One strange thing I've noticed, as soon, I've press the F10 to save a screenshot (to show you the problem), the color gets the way there supposed to be (even the save screenshot has the right color).

Any idea on this?

Thanks for your help,

Yves

I tried this and saw the same results. I tried a few things and all I could come up with was this.

  • Click View on the Menu
  • Click Graphic options...
  • Check Use system Colors
  • Click OK
  • Now when going full screen press Alt and colors seem to revert back to the original colors

Not really ideal but only thing I could make work. Don't know the results since didn't do further testing past that since don't use this emulator. If that's the results you're after then you can always just add ALT to the sendkeys for that emulator in GameEx and it will do it automatically for you. Hope that helps.

Which version are you using? I am using 4.0 and have no problems at all under Windows XP in Full Screen.

I tested with 4.0 for yves31 and had the same results. But we are running Windows 7 and not XP so that may be the reason why it's not workin as yves31 mentioned that he was happy with it before reinstalling his media center with Windows 7. Also tried running with Compatibility mode and the results were the same. So guess it's a Windows 7 thing. Thanks for letting us know the results of XP Krakerman!

Thanks for the help :D

I gave a try with atari800 emulator (My link)

and I had some interesting result.

First, if I start the emulator with no parameter, I get the error message that DirectDraw is not supported. It says that I need to use -blt or to specified a width.

If I use any width the color are wrong, the same has Atari800win plus.

But if I use the -blt option, colors are fine.

Thanks again,

Yves

One small thing...

I need to send the "alt" key twice. I'm not sure how to do it with the sendkeys.

Any idea on how to do it?

Try maybe...

{ALT 2}

in your GameEx\CONFIG\EMULATORS might be the file SendKeys.htm

Going on that it may be

(DELAY=50)(% 2)

Correct me if I'm an idiot

I find the speed and glorious POKEY sound is best when using Altirra

Here's my result so far...

I was unable to do an "ALT" twice :(

it seems like you have to do "ALT" with something when you script.

Also, it doesn't seem to work if you put it in {}

The only thing I was able to do is one "alt"

{Delay=50}%

I think what you can do with it is "% {something}" only.

Maybe I miss somehting, not sure.

I may give a try to Altirra.

Thanks for the help

Yves
