help with running external applications under a menu

i'm running game ex and when i set it up i chose to only run games.

i'm running mugen, beats of rage and a couple other games.

Can i put the external applications under another menu?

my start bage looks like this...

all games

all mame games

update list

neo geo games

cps games

nintendo

super nintendo

sega genesis

turbo grafx 16

play station

nintendo 64

mugen *

beats of rage *

i'd like to put mugen and beats of rage under a menu that says "other games"

There are only 2 ways to display menus. You can either display a flat menu (which is what you have), or you can display sub-menus. You cannot edit where items show up in the menus, but what you are describing should match the second setting. To get that, just turn off flat menus.

Well in this case I would personally set up as emulators and then group them together and then you can have the results you're after.

Good point. That would also work. I personally prefer the flat menus, so that would be a good way to go to get this desired effect.
