Catver.ini categories not showing up

Hi, don't know what i'm doing wrong but I can't get any of my roms to be sorted by category. Always get 'no games found' when clicking the category filter.

I placed the catver.ini in the mame folder, double-checked the path. I can see Gamex is finding it as it found its way into the Gamex folder too.

I tried with Mame32, Mame, Mame for AMD without success. Everytime I refresh the gamelist no categories come up.

Did you double check the path to your Roms folder?

yes I did. Actually all roms are showing up on the main list. It's just the catver filtering that is not working

For GameEx, catver.ini usually goes in the Gamex/Data folder. GameEx comes with one already so you'd need to replace that one if you are updating the older one. Then rebuild the list and try again.
