Individually DL Plugins?

I was curious if there's an easy way to add plugins 1 by 1. I just updated a friends machine and had to dig through the forums for hk's UltraStikPlugin post. The stickied user plugins topic doesn't seem to be up to date.

I thought all HK's plugins were included in the GameEx install? Let me know if I need to update anything.

They are but there are cases when you'd want to add/remove them individually. In this case, I was troubleshooting and didn't have internet access and didn't want to do the full Gx upgrade. I thought the individual plugin would be easier to find or add/remove than it was. In the end I found what I needed, just had to dig back through the forums.

You might want to pull down or update the User Created Plugins sticky as it's outdated and certain plugins (like Oggalz U360 plugin) don't fully work.

Just out of curiosity, why aren't plugins handled through the GameEx setup wizard custom options? Seems like it would be better to have it as a similar option to adding/downloading/removing emulators. And I'm sure you have nothing better to spend your dev time on right?
