I did hover over the images, but nothing seemed to pop up for me. I saw that when you went to the image it said what it was, though. I was just thinking that if I were perusing the gallery and saw something for the first time then it would be cool to be able to see the name prior to clicking on it. My connection is fast, but other people might have to wait a minute since these are really nice hi-res images!

Anyway, I'm impressed! I hope my suggestion didn't come across as anything other than that. I would offer up a picture of my TI-99/4A, but I'm sure that you don't already have one! I do have a few games I could take photos of though (Alpiner, Hunt the Wumpus, Parsec, Football, Magic Numbers (I think), maybe a couple more). I'm sure the boxes are long gone though...

Have made an improvemnet and now have it showing the name of the image beneath the thumbnail - so you should be ok to firefox it again - please let me know how it works?

Also - thinking of changing the website to a simple name of either "Computer Porn" or "Retro Porn", well - these are images of computers in the buff showing there curves and glory (interface ports!), what do ya think???

Now doing a load of new images in Photoshop cs4 (What a dream - yes it is a fully paid version) so should have some nice updates in the next few days.

TOM: will try and do that scan on Monday for ya!

Sounds reasonable! Only thing that might be a concern is for people like me where the company has a strict domain filter in use. If it sees "porn" in the html anywhere, it will probably balk.

Site's coming along nicely though!

I will leave it alone for now. Perhaps I will email the service providers and see what they say??

Just done an update on the site with some pictures taken with the new Pentax. Nice ZX81 and Atari 7800 images (and others).

Now getting round to more usefull stuff that may aid themes and icons etc...

I just found out there is a swap meat at our local showgrounds every week now so I might go down and look out for some retro stuff. You can find some bargains at those places.

No, I was not pointing a finger at you :) Just a general mutter.

Brutaldeluxe had offered a picture of a Binatone games system and you mentioned a TI-99/4A, and someone else offered something on another of my posts, cant remember what though?

The site has had a little update and i just bought an Acorn Atom which I will add soon. Added the 2 playstation versions though - that may be off interest to theme designers??

PS. Just ate far too much fillet steak and have hiccups now :( keep miss typing :)

Hey Flash I got out the old Amiga 1200 today and took a photo. I hope the quality is good enough for your website. You might see a tiny cigarette burn mark on the far left side of it, the only imperfection on it, other than that I kept it in great condition :)

There is a little bit of lens distortion that can easily be corrected in Photoshop.. Can upload an uncompressed one to the website?

Thanks for the reg on the forum thing. The software is a bit iffy I must admit, though I could not get it to do any of what you mentioned? I will look in to it with my special looking eyes.

That is too strange???

I am now working on a new forum (why - i really don't know), this should be A LOT better, and cleaner.

Please have a look tomorrow night. Sadly, it will involve re-registering... :(

Actually there is a guy from over on Aussie Arcade who is starting up an Art of the Arcade website and he has a section called "Girls of the Arcade" ;)

Maybe you guys could team up and get it all on one big site. I would recommend making the entire site run through forum software and use what's called a "portal" system. Take a look at aussiearcade.com.au to see what I mean. That whole site is running on vBulletin and works really great, even has a gallery etc.

BTW Flash I think my camera only supports jpeg sorry :(

Upside: Looks much better now and has more functionallity.. :)

Yes sorry about that Tempest we had to reinstall the whole forum software again because we were getting some errors when we moved it. So yeah you will have to register in again unfortunately but this should be the last time you have to do that (hopefully!). It's still under construction and were having a few issues with host security but posting messages should be fine.

GF - I tried to login today, It says username "Tempest" does not exist. Do I need to register again? I did twice already...
