MAME Database

A few versions ago, Tom added a feature to automatically create a MAME database for use with other emulators that used the same rom files. I think this new database was supposed to be called [Arcade] MAME.mdb, but I can't remember exactly. In any case, I can't seem to figure out where this file has been created. I searched my whole hard drive for all .mdb files, yet it doesn't show up. I figured maybe this is a feature that must be enabled, but I can't seem to locate the option to turn it on either.

Has anyone figured out how to get this working?

I have it in my system. It's found in the GameEx\DATA\EMULATORS directory and it's name is [ARCADE] MAME.mdb

BK - have you done an "update list"???

BK, its as Frequency says. Obviously something is not working right on your system. Not sure what. Do you have template.mdb in your data/emulators folder?

I thought I'd done an update recently. I'll do that first to make sure it's not something simple. Good suggestion.

I updated the list and the MAME database popped right up. Thanks for helping!
