Allo,

just have a quick question.

I found the option to have GameEX show a pic of a controller before a game launches (other emulators not MAME) but for the life of me I can't figure out what to name the picture to have it pop up for all games in a certain Emulator.

The help text say;

"A single image file can also be specified to be used for all games" What is it? :unsure:

For example;

For Nintendo NES I can see the pic if I start "Super Sprint" only if I name the pic "Super Sprint (U) (Unl).png" not "Super Sprint.png" but what do I name it so it'll show the pic for all games. I tried Nestopia, NES, ENU_13, Folder etc.... but nada.

BTW I know about CPwizard and do use it, but this is such a nice and simple thing to have so I'd like to take advantage of it.

Thanks

Are you talking about the logo on the page where you select the emulator?

No its an option to show a picture for a few seconds before the game starts. The same way it shows the control panel before a MAME game starts. Its in the setup under each emulator (Controls Path)

You just put the full file path and file name to the image. e.g C:\folder\image.png

I shouldn't question the BOSS, but with the extension?

I know that the images for emulators in advanced setup do not like to have the extension.

I think so yes, in this case. Id have to check to be 100% sure though.

I just checked, actually either with extensions or without in this case, but you need the full path.
