importing mamewah layout error msg

I am getting error message when trying to import mamewah layout using themeeditor.exe (see attached). any suggestions?

I just started messing around with gameex yesterday, forgive my ignorance. Basically I opened Default - Custom V2 Default 800x600 theme and was trying to import my mamewah layout for Mame. As soon as I click on mame.lay for mamewah 1.62 this is the error msg I get.

Reko - Did you ever get this resolved? I don't really mess around with the theme editor much, but am willing to try and help if I can...

How about uploading your Mamewah theme, and maybe somebody else will give it a shot.
