I'm having trouble getting neoragex (the gamex imported neo geo emulator) to work with my registered copy of GameEx. My command line is set to "NeoRAGEx.exe "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]" which would work perfectly if this emulator were anything like most of the other emulators, like jnes, zsnes, and Fusion. But no matter what I seem to do it just opens neoragex's front gui menu. Is there anyway to bypass this menu like I was able to do with the other emulators and go straight to the rom I selected in gameex.

Also I've figured out how to exit games with the push of a combination of buttons on my controller for all of my emulators, which i have set to the ZSNES V6 advanced config. Mame doesn't give me the option of including an advance config file. How do I set up mame so that i can exit back to GameEx with a combination of buttons on the controller.

Thanks for your help everyone, I really do appreciate the excellent customer support for this program.

Last time I looked into this emulator I couldn't find a way to get it to play nice with GX...that said I could take a look at it again in a weeks time...as I got a lot of my plate right now.

Really I'd suggest using FBA, Nebula, WinKawaks over using NeoRageX anyways...the newer builds of Mame typically play all the games anyways...so really unless your looking for NetPlay...Mame is generally fine.

Maybe someone else can lend a hand...but more than likely its going to require a fairly tricky AutoIt script to make it work...and likely it won't be very clean.

Maybe it's just me, but unless you are trying to play a game that MAME doesn't support yet, why would you use any of these (FBA, Nebula, WinKawaks, NeoRage, etc.)? The only times I've seen a problem with MAME is when playing Metal Slug and 50000 bombs and such are going off for the bosses here and there. I don't know if this is better with one of the stand alone emulators, so maybe someone could enliten me?

I think that using other emus than MAME, you can overclock Metal Slug 2 to actually be playable. Unlike my MVS cart that has biiiiig slowdowns. Which MAME of course emulates "perfectly". :D

Yes, the developer kinda overshot with MS2, that's why they released MSX...

That's messed up! I've seen that a few times on consoles, but they are so rare! It's one thing on a PC with varying specs, but there's no excuse when it's a console or arcade. That's deplorable!
