I recently purchased a full set of 118 roms. But I have noticed that all roms show up in the list, does anyone have a good exclude list that blocks all bios from showing up in the gameex list?

Did you mean not all roms show up in the list? If so check your filters in gameex bootleg, clone, imperfect games are usually filtered out by default...

So Galaga has imperfect colors... You will NOT see it in gameex unless you add it to the Do Not Filter list.. Or unless you enable show imperfect games..

Do this and update your gamee list..

Neogeo.zip is an example of a mame BIOS--Do you mean that this comes up on your gamelist to play? It shouldnt.

Mame has a command to -listfull and audit your GAME roms and create an XML with your available GAMEROMS...Gameeex uses this to create the games list..

So MAYBE you have it improperly configured...

Please try the above and if all else fails post your config

BTW: Thanks for your support :)

I'm having the same problem (bios roms showing up in gameEx list)... I'm using the command line mame .118 (with the ok screen removed). I tired the -listfull command, but for the life of me I can't find any XML file. Is this the file that I would need to delete/recreate to have GameEx not list these BIOS files when I "update the rom list"?

They hadn't always shown up, but in an effort to organize things a bit, I moved the BIOS files to a sperate folder, and just pointed to it, along with the rom folder, in the GameEx advance config. I think that's when they started showing up.

Thanks for any help you can give,

Yes I noticed the same thing with 118. I guess Tom will notice when he updates his set.
