exiting slow???

Im new to the program but I sure like how its coming about in my cabinet.....however I have been using mame32 for a bit now...so im kinda used to the speed of it, normally when i exit from a game its like a second maybe 2 till your back at the frontend screen.....useing GameEX it seems to take a bit. I was just wondering if anyone has seen this or am I doin something wrong. Speed shouldnt be a issue...the pc is a 2ghz celeron with a gig of memory. this slow to exit also happens with daphne as well. any input appreciated

It depends how slow your talking about, but generally it does take a little while. It takes about 4-5 seconds for both Daphne and MAME on my fastest system, which is an optimized install 3400 Athlon 64 1 gig.

I dont think your doing anything wrong, yourll probably have to put up with it.

It can take a while to return to GameEx if you have a radio station playing, as it has to reconnect. Although not for MAME.
