[RESOLVED] Global Escape button not working in MAME (emulator selection setting)

Hi all 🙂

Had some issues with the "built in MAME setting", regarding my favorites list of games not being detected, and GameEx had to update list each time i started MAME. So I went into .ini file and chose to "hide" the MAME (Arcade games) button/icon, and instead I chose MAME from the emulator selection settings (where you add all the different emulators). This worked out great in terms of games showing up when launching MAME, but now the Global Escape button wont work so i cant exit when a game has loaded in MAME. The Global Escape is working on all the other emulators but not MAME. Do someone here have any idea why this is happening?

Do you want to try to address the primary issue (integrated MAME support favorites and repeated update list)  vs. the issue impacting your MAME workaround?

If you don't mind then, please reverse your workaround changes, launch GameEx, and attach updated copies of your gameex.ini and log.txt files for review. This may be a Tom thing to help resolve but having these will be a good place to start. Thanks!

Sorry for not replying earlier. I found out that after I had to install everything from scratch, I chose the wrong emulators (including MAME) i had on another location on the pc. Everything is working fine now 🙂

I will try to investigate a little bit and see if i can see whats the difference between the .ini files and the log.txt, and report back 🙂👍
