[RESOLVED] PinballX does not respond after closing table

When I start my cabinet, pinballx opens automatically. I only have Future pinball and FX2 working on my system, the Future pinball tables when I close them, PinballX shows the error.

Two-screen system, running WIndows 10 Pro. Does not have any add-ons.

The Problem only happens with Future Pinball, FX2 does not happen.

All Future Pinball tables working correctly.

I close and reopen PinballX, and everything seems to work fine.

It might be worth adding /arcaderender to your FP launch parameters, so they change to something like;

/open "[TABLEPATH]\[TABLEFILE]" /play /exit /arcaderender /STAYINRAM

If that doesn't help can you let us know how often the hang occurs?, every 3 table launches etc. Thanks.

Normally I use the /arcaderenderer parameter, I removed it to test and ended up forgetting to add it again, but the problem continues with or without this parameter.

I was now trying to start as an administrator, but the error persisted.

When I start Windows and pinballx, if I open a Future Pinball table right away, I'm sure that if I exit it, it will give me an error.

If I don't open any tables immediately, wait about 5 minutes and test the error doesn't occur, but after playing about 3~4 tables or I get the error again.

I attached a new log that I was testing just now and it happened.

I played Apollo 13 and it came out correctly, then Aeroblast and everything was fine at the exit, but when I went to exit Avatar, everything stopped, PinballX doesn't write the rest of the Log for this reason.

The Log attached below was created with PinballX and FPLoader in Administrator mode.

For some reason after the launch of the Avatar table the log shows PinballX doesn't get as far as "Found Future Pinball window" which should be immediately after the launch (before table exit is pressed)

It might be worth trying to set FPLoader to run in windows 8 compatibility mode and confirm other FP settings are also as suggested in Future Pinball and BAM Mega Guide by TerryRed - Future Pinball - Virtual Pinball Universe (vpuniverse.com)

If they're all set then i'm not sure why you'd get the issue but only occasionally

I will reinstall everything from the beginning following the procedures and post the results here.

After reinstalling all Visual-C-Runtimes, the problem was resolved.
