Imon Remotes

I am looking into purchasing a remote specifically for GameEx, i was just wondering if any remote can be used.

At the moment i am looking at this remote

I am told it is the best IR remote money can buy at the moment.

but will it work with GameEx?

In a word, yes it'll work. I've got an IMON VFD + Remote on my HTPC. You install the IMON application, which then allows you to program in buttons vs keypresses for each application. So yeah, it'll work fine with GameEx, as long as you install the IMON app, and then program up for gameex.exe accordingly.

O.k so could I use this to browse through/use the Dvd/Music/Emulator Menus within GameEx? or would I have to use the imon app to do this?
