[RESOLVED] MAME Games with CHD Files

I am trying to use MAME games that have CHD files, but I cannot get any of them to work.  
 

I have the MAME file in the ROM folder and then I have the CHD file in the ROM folder inside their own folder.  For example the Blitz rom is in /ROM and the Blitz CHD file is in /ROM/BLITZ. 
 

All the games that just use the ROM file works.  However none of the games that use CHD files do not work.  They do not even appear after I update the list. 
 

I am using the most recent version of GameEx, MAME .228, and MAME .228 ROMs.

The default setting is Yes, but make sure in the setup wizard that "Show MAME CHD's" is set correctly.

Try toggling "verify roms" off and update your MAME list for GameEx.  You haven't provided your GameEx.ini and log, but I'm assuming you are running integrated MAME.

I might add that I have my CHDs in their own folder - ROMS\MAME\CHD but not each in its own folder per game, just in their original zipped packages.

In the integrated MAME section, I have two ROM paths set and separated by semicolon (no spaces) - E:\ROMS\MAME\ROMS;E:\ROMS\MAME\CHD

Thank you both for the replies.  I will make those changes tonight as well as post the gameex.ini and log.txt files tonight.

Thank you both.  Using what you both said work.  I unverified roms.  Put the CHDs into the CHD folder, added that to the command line and they all work now.  Thanks again!
