Hi Guys, ive been out the loop too long, i cant for the life of me answer this 1.

I know MEDIA is stored in pinballx but i have all my media on a separate drive, how do i get pinballx to point to this drive for my media as i cant find an option in the settings?

You can use symbolic links (junction points). You can put a directory on another drive and create a link to it. Program will see just a path, but because of the junction point it is on another drive

Also try  PinballX Database manager as an alternative way for gamemanger

Thanks i'll give that a try.

 

EDIT : i Tried using JUNCTION but it wouldnt work, so im just gonna re install pbx on the other drive and just copy the relevant folders over the base folders that pbx creates.

Odd. I used it myself. Installation of pbx isnt that hard. You can copy over the complete pinballx directory as well (but do an install to your new drive)
