Hi, I still have this problem myself. Been following the thread.

VP9 tables of which i have 3 quit very well back to Pinball X where as the VP10 tables all have this little pause menu appear. Very annoying.

In xp10, should I make my exit the esc key?

I have been using Q as its default.

I left in vp10 the quit to q, but bind the exit emulator to my physicall exit button on the cab (and esc on keyboard).

I run pbx as admin and the exit button 'terminates' the vp10 process

ok so i have done this: PBX - both Quit and exit emulator are set to ''esc''. in VP10 the disable esc is ticked and the exit is set to "Q".

The tables seem to exit back to PBX by pressing esc but its random. sometimes you have to press twice other times its something else. strange. At least I dont get the little pause menu now

Looks like the disable escape key maybe isnt working in VPX?

Tom, what do you think about my last comment?

"sometimes you have to press twice other times its something else"

Please attach a fresh copy of your ini file and log.txt (after having to press esc twice to exit succesfully)

If pinballx isn't set to run as admin then try that too.

Thanks.

I have a possible solution to this.

It appears that while the ''hold button to exit'' setting was set to no, the problem was in fact that to exit i had to hold the button expecting the exit was set to instant pressing of the button.

I toggled the setting to yes and then back to no and it came good. Not the first time this has been amiguious.
