marquee materials

hey guys, just ordered my happ marquee retainer and i know i'm gonna need the florescent light and plexi glass (i'll scoop those from the depot) but i was wondering where i should get my custom marquee printed at and on what type of material. do they print them on the clear plastic/type material like an actual arcade somewhere? i called staples today and they said they have solid paper, and glossy, not sure if that would even work.

For your florescent light try to get something low watt so it dosn't generate too much heat in your cab. I have a 13W 550 mm Crompton Fluorescent light in my cab.

My marquee was printed on translucent film. Any local printing shop near you should be able to do it for you.

Anywhere you can have decals or signs made / custom printing work done does this... Bring a hi-quality original and your plexiglass strip and they'll even lay it on for you nice and clean.

I got mine from mamemarquees.com and I'm very happy with it. Be sure to notice the little box you have to tick to get the "ultimate" version (this will cost you extra). I didn't see that box so I ended up with the cheaper thing, which is still great!
