I recently downloaded GameEX and was psyched about playing old classicgames

on my Media Center, but to my suprise I wasnt able to show any games.

Unsure about witch folder to put my roms,

In my mainmenu in GameEx I only see

Multimedia

More games and programs

News

Exit/Shutdown

Its probarbly a simple mistake, but I cant see it at 02:00 at night =)

Any help would be great =)

Make sure that when you're done setting up the emulator, that it's ENABLED. It's the first or second option for the emulator. I'm not looking at it right now, but that should fix your problem. If not, make sure your paths are set right. GameEx won't tell you if you have an emulator setup wrong. Instead, it just doesn't show the emulator.

made alittle progress, I have been able to select a rom folder,

and found out that the emulator is enabled.

But still no games.

Before using gameex. Make sure your mame emulator or what have you is set up correctly.

Feeling alittle stupid, do I need a standalone mame emu with GameEx.

I was under the impression that GameEx came with the requierd emulator?

http://mame32qa.classicgaming.gamespy.com/ Go here or mame.net 1st link seems like your ticket. Once you can run games via. one of these 2. Then let gameex work its magic.
