mame32 control panel view in gameex

Hey guys, i've run into a recent problem, i cannot view the control panel before selecting the game. ive tried different themes and it still doesnt show up. i remember whin i first installed gameex there was an option to view it, now its gone.

Any help would be great!!

I might be mistaken. I thought you could turn it off in the gameex config.

i do have the optioned turned on, but there still is no control panel layout.

i checked for the controls.ini file in gameex/data, and its there. i also updated the game list data so its matched with romset .106. so i have the monst current controls.ini file, but its still not showing up in gameex, any other ideas.
