hey, as you know i'm wiring my CP right now for the first time ever. I basically have everything grounded, but i have one more switch on P2 joystick, then i have a button on each side of the panel for pinball games. i've used black as my ground, but have run out, and don't have black wire for the last 3 switches to be grounded. if i use a different color to finish the grounding, will this effect anything?

Dont worry about that, only the plastic has a color all the copper is the same ;),

the colors are jut to make it easy for you to keep it all separate.

No, It'll be your little secret!

The colors only represent wiring convention (a bit like the standard wire colors in a mains plug). The wires, as far as you're concerned for this project, are electrically equivalent, regardless of color!

Wires are wires..some are just prettier than the other!! Personally, when I wired mine, I used different colors just to differentiate between player one, two etc...(helps when troubleshooting)
