I have 28 Visual Pinball .vpt tables loaded and when I run pinballx it says I have 29 tables and shows and empty entry "Star Trek Bally 1979"

I have looked in the Visual Pinball.xml file and the entry is not there.

Anyone know where this data is coming from and how to remove it?

I think Star Trek is one of the example database entries in new installs, although i think it's under Future Pinball rather than VP. Are you looking at All Tables?

Have a look in Future Pinball xml, if'ts there remove or disable it directly or via Game Manager. If you're not using future pinball you could disable that system in settings.exe instead.

Thanks heaps guys for the quick reply :)

scutters your the man!, hit it on the nose.

I went drastic and just deleted all the .xml files save VP and Fixed!!!

Thanks.

I'm building a mini VP machine 24" x 14" and it will have all the pops and whistles (3 screens Mini plunger LED's etc.) - will send you a link to the video when I finish.

Glad it worked.

Off topic, but as it's a new build i'd go for visual pinball 10 vpx tables rather than the older vpt files. Up to you though and you probably have a good idea about what hardware you'll be running pc wise.

agree with @scutters most VPT table are outdated as most authors are now using VPX and its miles better and smaller table files ^_^
