Hi Tom

Just did an upgrade from 6.53 to 6.62.

Thanks for the greater loading /exiting speed and album by artist. Superb!

Found a few bugs in the menuing, though...(I use a basic V1 theme)

1. When I launch gameex it doesn't show my emulators (SNES, Playstation etc) in the main startup menu. If I drill down one level and come back up they appear. Just not on startup?

2. The emulator games list menu appears to be corrupted. It shows the games but includes additional items from the startup menu, alphabetised into the list? You can only select the first n entries (where n is the rom count) in the expanded list. I think a buffer needs clearing somewhere...

3. In my pinball emulation section, I'm using a customised MAP file to specify proper names for the VPinball tables. This is showing correctly in the list, but the last played list that's been added to the top DOESN'T USE THIS FILE, it shows the original raw names.

4. Is there going to be an option to TURN OFF the new start menu item resizing animation. Personally I think it was better being uniform as in previous versions?

6.53 was pretty much perfect for my cab, but the latest version has some useful additional bits, assuming the above can be tweaked!

Thanks

Shaun

Thanks for the feedback and testing Shaun.

1,2 and 4 are resolved in 6.63 now available.

Im not too sure about 3, do the pinball games show correctly under the Most Played page?

Thanks for the quick turnaround! 1,2 and 4 check off fine in 6.63.

Re: 3

I've specified a separate MAP file in the emulator config section for my pinball setup. This is in addition to the defaulted one that seems to get set automatically (name emu_1.map) in DATA. I think the main list is using my specified map file, but the last played doesn't know about this and is only using the one in DATA.

I reckon if I copy my MAP file over the top of the default one in DATA it would correct the problem, but just pointing it out...

[EDIT] Tried that, but it didn't make a difference. It just appears the last played six at the top doesn't have any name mapping code...[EDIT]

[EDIT]If I switch on Most played, the pin tables again are shown without any name mapping[EDIT]

Cheers

Shaun
