Hey Tom! :)

I merged my MAME ROMs to test GameEx support. I'm not sure if there's a trick to it or not, but...

When I launch the ROM (1942.zip for example) it's loading the 'default set' for that ROM. Knowing how GameEx reacts to GoodMerged ROMs, I expected that GameEx would display all sets in a merged .zip and I would be able to select the set I wanted to play. However, this is not the case.

Since clrMAMEpro zips all the 1942 sets to one file (1942.zip) GameEx only launches the set that would originally carry that name (1942 (set 1) is 1942.zip, so 1942 (set 1) is launched).

Is this a bug or is this as good as MAME merge support is gonna get? FYI - GameEx already did this before the update, so there doesn't seem to be any change whatsoever. I should also mention that I updated my game list after the GameEx update.

Thanks! :)

Its not like 7zip support, they just all show in one list. You need to make sure VerifyRoms is turned on then update the list. You should then see the clones. Not sure if yourll see the sets. Also I may have the terminlogoy wrong.

Ane yes, thats all there is, you will see no difference. Its just that merged roms are now supported, so in other words you see the clones, if your using merged roms.
