I run GameEx in my cabinet from my laptop. And I have an X-Arcade dual as my controller. For this to work smoothly, I need to activate NumLock as I run GameEx. I have created a autohotkey binary that enables NumLock upon startup using the "launch before" function and on exit it turns NumLock off.

When I start GameEx and get a prompt to update, everything works perfectly in the two stages of update, but when GameEx is restarting, it doesn't start from windows again unless I manually exit my NumLock script.

So I'm guessing that GameEx doesn't exit properly (stopping all related programs, i.e. launch on exit etc.) before relaunching after an update. Or is this just me?

Possibly not I'd need to check, but you know you should be able to set numlock to be on in the laptops BIOS, no?

Not in my Acer. I know that you can tweak the registry to turn it on though, but as my laptop is not a dedicated arcade machine, I prefer using this method. Otherwise, if I wanna write something on my keyboard, it's gonna be numbers coming and people will be confused. ;)
