Key Repeat on ipac2 (ps/2)

Hello all,

I don't know if this is a gameex issue, but thought I'd check it out. I currently have a MAME system running under GameEx using an IPAC2 (ps/2 version). When using the joysticks during gameplay, if you hold a direction down the action does not repeat. So you will move forward for a second then stop. You then have to release the direction and re-initiate it.

This is a very annoying problem and makes most games virtually un-playable. Is there anyway to get the joystick directions to repeat there commands?

Hi,

It does not sound like a GameEx issue, but rather MAME. The way to be sure is to run the Run Last Game setting from the Program group.

If it is a MAME issue, your best port of call for help is either to email Andy & ultimarc directly. You are entitled to support I would think.
