I have a Betson Multisync 27" monitor and it used to diisplay everything normally. Now, for osme reason, in GameEx, whenever a vector game is chosen or displayed via the attract mode, the screen goes black and a very brief message is flashed. It happens so quickly it is hard to tell exactly what it says but it definitely has something to do with the Hz/refresh rate or something to that effect. I don't know why it is doing this and it has for some time. The only thing I cna think of is that a setting got changed for some reason when I updated GameEx (Though I don't recall which version this started on). Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?

I dont think its to do with GameEx, did you update your version of MAME? I've not looked into the new rendering features in MAME, maybe that's causing it, but if your using the ArcadeVGA settings you can change the resolution vector games run at. Basically what's happpening there running at a resolution or rate which is not compatible with your monitor. If your not using the ArcadeVGA settings, somehow yourll need to tell Vector games to run at a different resolution in MAME.
