Got to play a little today at my local seaside town.

- House of the dead 4

- Big Buck Bunter

- That new Pac-Man

- And some crappy racer that was broken and stuck in reverse gear!

The games have got bigger (dimensions) that is for sure.

I still miss the good old days. Where you'd go and discover some new game that blows you away.

Did they have one of the Star Wars Battle Pods?  They're huge, and probably one of the most immersive games I've ever played (I stunk too).....

Funny, I was thinking about the new star wars just as I posted but no I didn't see it. They had the transformers game and the usual Mario kart and a few other racers and shooters.

It's always kind of disappointing these days though.

It's hard to recapture bygone days....

Just noticed - there's widescreen on that cab - that must have been quite new for its day. What it really could have done with is two other monitors either side as sideview mirrors... me and my extra displays....

Ooo! and on that topic - I used to love silent scope. That's gotta be a challenge to re-create on a homebrew cab... hmmmm

I like how in that video they make you believe you can drive from New York to Key West in a little over a minute.
