GameEx hanging once exiting Emu

Whenever I exit zSNES GameEx hangs and just shows my desktop w/o any taskbar...I have tried everything I can possibly think of...Anyone know what could be wrong?

---edit one more thing I forgot to mention...When viewing the MAME Rom list is there anyway to stop GameEx from going to for instance the first rom that starts with the letter Q if I was to press Q on my keyboard?

most importantly though I need this zSNES issue resolved driving me nuts.

Thank you I figured it out I had ZSNES V2 option in GameEx selected and seemed to cause problems...I just removed that option and now it works fine....Something so simple can cause hours of frustration and searching....makes me so angry lol.
