gamepad software for pc games?

Hey guys, I got an xbox 360 controller for my pc and I want to play all my PC games using it. I can't seem to find any good software to program all the buttons to act like a keyboard and mouse. I need to use this software in conjunction with gameex. Thanx for any suggestions!

Also, does anyone know of any good PC games with native gamepad support?

JoyToKey is good. Its free & extremely light on resources, maps keys & has analogue/digital support, can also emulate a mouse.

Another program you can use for key mapping is 'Total Game Control', its not free though, and the trial wont let you save profiles..tightwads!

The best thing about this program is that you can map multiple key combinations to one button (stuff like alt+f4, that sort of thing), not many programs can do that. Also you specify a profile for a game, select the games shortcut, & it automatically loads up your key definitions.

need for speed most wanted works with my xbox pads with usb converters force feed back the lot

Autohotkey is great for any kind of keyboard, mouse, and joystick remapping (among other things). It's a compilable scripting tool, so while it is much more powerful/flexible than the other solutions, it's also a bit more complicated. It's not too bad once you get the hang of it.
