GameEx LCD Smartie Plugin

Ok so I decided I'd try an see if I could get this plugin to work. I did, and it works great.

However, my off topic question is related to the LCD Smartie program itself. I'm asking here because I can't seem to register on their forums (not getting the authorization email). Does anybody use this program and the GameEx plugin? I'd like to use it, but since I use Media Center too, I prefer to use the software that came with LCD. It provides a much more robust set of features for MCE that smartie doesn't. If anybody out there uses the Soundgraph IMON VFD, along with MCE, and the LCD Smartie program with GameEx pluggin, could you let me know how you worked out getting everything to work together? Thanks!
