Pinball FX2 DMD Videos on RealDMD ** HELP Please **

Hello I could use some advise please.

I have just received my PinDMDv2 and am excited to finally have DMD videos in PinballX. I have downloaded many PinMAME (visual Pinball) DMD videos in .avi format and they work very well.

*HOWEVER* I got a load of Pinball FX2 tables and their .F4V videos from pinsimdb,org and although the videos play in PinballX, they are blotchy with large rectangles etc.

I have a RealDMD (Vishay) display running on my new PinDMDv2 board.

It's driving me bananas and I've tried to find Pinball Fx2 (Zen) DMD videos that would look as good at my PinMame tables in PinballX. I even tried converting the files but I dont really know what I'm doing.

If anyone could please lend a hand to help me get my Zen Pinball Fx2 DMD videos looking awesome on my RealDMD Orange Vishay display I would be grateful.

I moved this to the PBX General forum, and locked your previous thread that revolved around your PinDMDv1.0 unit, so as to avoid confusion.

Afraid I'm not going to be of any help getting your new one to play better, but someone should come along and see this.

Well, number 1, Pinball FX2 doesn't have any support for real DMD.. Don't know what you intend on doing in-game.

If this is truly about having DMD videos in attract mode in Pinball X, maybe someone can give you the specific instructions for converting existing videos. The source that you will want to use is the Nuke Launcher media pack rather than the videos on the FTP. The videos on the FTP have "screen door/banding/interference" artifacts.

I'm thinking conversion simply involves converting to greyscale?

Yes thank you I realize that Pinball FX2 does not support the real DMD, and yes I am only talking about the DMD Video in PinballX attract mode.

I dont know much about Nuke Launcher so I will investigate this. All I'm looking for are the Zen Pinball FX2 DMD Attract Videos that look great.
