[RESOLVED] Pinball X Table Video not filling full width of screen

Hi Guys,

I have started setting up Pinball X and so far so good, however none of the table videos (Including the sample ones) fill the full width of my screen. Resolution is 1080 x 1920 vertical. The wheel images etc do fill the full width.

Any ideas what can do to fix this?

Have you checked your display settings to make sure this isn't a result from a aspect ratio setting?

For larger displays you want "just scan" or something similar so you do not get any over/under scan.

Thanks tthurman,

I have checked my display setings and they seem ok. Its only the table videos which are the wrong size wheel images etc go the full width of the screen. I have attached a photo to better show the issue.

Its because apparently while pinballx will run vertical once its launched, it expects your windows desktop to be horizontal.

See a reply I got:

Se your desktop to normal, then set PBX to 270 degrees rotation on the main display, then launch.

Oh I see, Ill try that. Thanks Lurker!

Thats a real shame it doesent support when Windows in portrait mode as it makes navigating the system when not in Pinball X a whole lot harder unless I keep messing with the display settings. Hopefully its still on the todo list for the next version of Pinball X as im guessing a lot of people using it have pinball cabs and so will have Windows set to portrait mode.
