In case you missed it GameEx Online went live for eligible GameEx users two days ago.

If you look at the site you will see we have partnered with EmuMovies for the media we show on the site.

Now with kind permission from EmuMovies the following additional media has been added

• Arcade cabinet images.
• Game manuals
• Video commercials
• Game music

So for example when you are playing a game you can go to your phone or tablet, and view the manual or view the commerical!

Now that's a nice touch... the penny's dropping here regarding the online functions! Manuals/reviews/cheats/special moves on your tablet whilst playing your rig. That's the way to do it!

Is gameex online part of gameex 14? Is there some setup documentation for it? Been a long time gameex user and not sure how to activate this.

To say setup is pretty minimal would be overstating how easy it is.

The configuration still revolves around the GameEx feature set, and what you've already been, or plan to use it for, i.e. if you already used it as a HTPC and or media server. If not, it will be up to you to determine what features to load.

The media streaming is going to be the biggest draw for me, as I can keep everything centrally located, and basically make my HTPC's function as a catalyst for playback, eliminating the need for data duplication, or the hassle of shuffling data back and forth between machines.
