First Time Setting Up an Emulator in GameEx

Hi could you elaborate a little or please point me in the direction of how to "build an emulator configuration in GameEx" ? I don't mind teaching myself but I don't know where to look for information on how to do so. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I split your post from this thread, since ... uh ... it was a pretty random spot for this question.

At any rate, this is a pretty broad question and a good starting point would be to ask what specific emulator you'd like to setup first? Or more specifically are you interested in setting up MAME first, or are you more interested in giving it a go with a console emulator?

use the setup wizard and double/triple check directories because they usually default to the wrong directories. correct and play. good luck.
