clear favorites (changed roms names therefore they dont work anymore)

Yes if youre willing to do some database editing...

Open the data.db3 file I'm your GameEx days folder and remove all the 1s in the favorites column.

Make sure you back it up first, all your playtimes and dates are in there too!

Db3 is a Mysql file format. You will need to download the program from the program site.

Can't you just enable the delete function and go into your favorites and hit the delete key? That should remove it from your list, and since the rom no longer exists nothing will be physically deleted out of your rom path. Then just go back into your rom list and re-add the renamed rom.

If it were me I, would rather just edit the database. But I have a small tool for making changes to my data.db3 file for when I was building the tagger site so I could test use cases in the server db.

Wouldn't it be easier just to go into each games info page and click "Remove from Favorites"?? Unless you have hundreds of faves of course, in which case i understand why editing the DB directly would be less hassle.
