Hi all. I honestly haven't messed with VP software in about 3 years.. I feel like im starting to get things in order again. For my cabinet I decided to use Pinball X this time around. Last time I had Hyperpin. Im running Windows 7 64 bit and VP 9.9. First problem is I get that UAC security message popping up when I select a table in Pinball X. Do I just go to the control panel and lower the UAC to the lowest settings? Then it still doesn't load the table because it gives me open file security warning... Somehow I got it to load a table and no matter what I could get Pinball X to exit back to the main menu to select another table. I tried changing my quit button and exit emulator button with no success. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Dean

For Win 7, I would recommend that you locate the executible for PinballX and any emulators that you are running and set them to always open as an Administrator folowing these instructions. Let us know how this works for you.

Already tried that. Then I get a UAC warning when pinballX first starts up too.

Glad you go t it sorted. UAC is not a bad thing to have enabled, but if you are running a dedicated system for a pincab or arcade, there really isn't any need to have it set at the highter levels. A shared PC or laptop may be a different story.
