What are the different version options in Theme Editor???

Hi everyone! This is my first post of what I expect will be many...

My question is, when I open the Theme Editor, I can select from a Version 2 or a Version 4, (or Auto), but I wanted to know what the difference was, if any, between them...

I'm looking forward to making some incredible themes for my HTPC...

Use v4. It's the best option going forward. :-)
