hey forum,

can anyone tell me how long before the nag disables after i donate? game ex looks and runs very nicely on my mame-cab so it was worth the donation without question. i can deal with the nag screen for now but whats really got me stumped right now is getting my snes9x and fceultra emus working. mame was so easy to set up but snes9x after i choose a game(castlevania 4 for ex.) it goes to a dos screen where it says this:

C:\Program Files\GameEx>C:

C:\Program Files\GameEx>CD: "C\Proram Files\snes"

ECHO is on.

snes9x.exe "C\Proram Files\snes\Roms\Castlevania 4"

ECHO is on.

C\Proram Files\snes>PAUSE

Press any key to continue...

at which point it will take me back to the game select screen.

For FCEultra i copied the config settings from

http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?ac...&type=post&id=6

and it doesnt recognize any roms at all. im sure ive missed something in my config settings so here they are. i dont have or need any of the artwork or snapshots or any extras, they would be cool but at this point i would settle just for basics to get all of my emus all running through gameex. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

You should have your key now, it often only takes less than a couple of hours when I am here. Any problems with the key itsself or if you didnt get it contact me by email.

You need to put a rom filter on both of these config. If your roms are zipped put *.zip or *.nes or whatever they are named.

Also on your snes config turn off debug mode.

Debug Mode=No. That will stop the dos box popping up.

Lastly make sure you have both emulators setup to run in full screen . If this is done you will be able to change this line in the config aswell.

Show Desktop=No

So as you dont see the desktop when playiong any game. This should fix your problems.

:D got disable nag reg key today, thanks tom!!

thanks also jedah for the tips. i swithced the debug and desktop settings in both emu's and ended up figuring out that i had two more separate issues. the working path in snes9x was missing one last file. in my fceultra it was the rom filter.

thanks for the help!
