[RESOLVED] Choosing Which Artwork Displays in Each Location

Could someone please explain to me how I can tell GameEx to display specific artwork in certain locations?

I am not trying to accomplish anything too fancy - I just want GameEx to display the game box below the video snap like so (see attachment).

(Answer 1 based on theme editor experience)

Unfortunately you cant change what displays in Image 1 and 2, but there have been feature request's to change this so we can manually change what appears at these locations.

(Answer 2 based on setup wizard)

From what I understand if you have your snap and boxart path's set up in the setup wizard for the specific emulator,it will display snap/video and boxart how you want them to be (as explained by you above). So basically have your snap and box art path's set up correctly and that should work.

I know that there is an order of priority within GameEx of what artwork is displayed, I'm not entirely sure of how it works but if you have, say for example if you have "Titles" path setup for the emulator it may display titles instead of boxart.

Your best bet is to just have snap/video and boxart path's enabled and disable all other artwork paths.

Thanks for the response. I did the following to achieve what I described above:

Image Snap Path: [box Art Path]

Backgrond Snap Path: [blank]

Video Snap Path: [Video Path]

Title Snap Path: [blank]

Box Art Path: [box Art Path]

Cart Path: [Cart Path]

Manual Path: [Manual Path]

It's working just how I want it to now!
