Hi All,

Long time no see [ :)]

I have a very strange issue and a search on the forum does not seem to find the same issue.

I have removed the "Global escape Key combo" feild from the setup wizard for input settings but whenever I am ingame (any emulator) and mash buttons it will exit back to gameex if I mash hard enough.

This is an issue for me when playing fighting games as you have to input a lot of commands quickly and this causes a lot of fights amongst my friends lol.

I had a look in the log to see if anything shows but nothing sticks out. I also set "Enable Escape Key Exit" to "no" but this still had no affect.

Any suggestions would be golden.

Thanks

I also got this problem. I disabled the "Global escape Key combo" in the wizard but that was only working on mame and not my other emulators (the combination was up-left and 3 buttons and it was triggered during button mashups). To fix that i had to edit the [mapping off] files (from "./Gameex/Config/Emulators/") that were associated to my emulators and set the field MapGamePadExit to False. There is probably a cleaner way to do it but that worked. Those files will be overwritten if you update gameex.

Are you guy's using sticks by any chance? I just this minute updated and tried many emulators but all is ok here, i was even pulling off many Haduken/Shoryuduken's to try and invoke an emulator quit but didn't happen. I'm using latest GameEx and 360 pads.

Trying to recreate this as it seems quite odd behaviour ^^

Ptinolv you are right this works

"To fix that i had to edit the [mapping off] files (from"./Gameex/Config/Emulators/") that were associated to my emulators and set the field MapGamePadExit to False."

Is this the only way to fix this though? This would mean I will have to set an advanced config fpor every emulator I have which is a pain in the ass :(

Actually i just modified every [mapping off] files in the folder (there are 11 of them) and didn't have to change anything in the emulators config. As i said the annoying part is that every update thoses files are reset. So i backed up the modified [mapping off] somewhere.

If there is another way around that (in the wizard, etc.) I also would like to know it.
