Theme-Editor and the List + ListNum field

Hello Theme-Skinning-guys,

I recently find out, that the ListNum field can not be placed anywhere in a theme. it needs to be under or over the List field, if it is left or right of it, it will be somehow "truncated" (i.e. it overlaps a little with the List field) or not visible at all (if it is completely outside the range, either on the left or right side of the List field).

is this behaviour normal? what advices could you make? does this happen only to me ?

in short words: the ListNum field has dependencies with the List field. are there any workaround for this?

Not sure I follow. In my themes, I have the ListNum object all over the place - separate "windows," beneath the List, etc. If you are experiencing any truncation, it may be the the ListNum object is not sized properly. Try increasing the width and play with that a bit.

i think i described it not so well .

so here is a picture for better explaination:

if you look at the ListNum field and how it is placed, then the truncation will appear. it will be truncated exactly where the list field ends. it happen on both sides... left and right, but NOT on top or bottom (off course ). if the listnum field on the picture would be completely on the right of the list-field, you will see nothing at all later on in GameEx.

OK, have you tried changing the Width field from 123 to, say 512? The width is set at 123 pixels so this may be part of the issue.

no matter how big it is, i.e. the field in the picture, will be seen if i move it over or under the List field. but left or right dont work, even if i make it as big as list . i just want to know, if others experiencing the same and what could be a workaround. if there is no one, i need to think some other way to treat this.

I think it may be that the Image object is going to over lay the ListNum object.

As a test, try moving it under the Description object and see if you still experience any truncation.

first i thought it maybe was my alpha-overlay covering the field. in first place i wanted to put it right under the CP, on the black border so to say. it works with the scroller field for example, but not with the listnum field . then i tried it to move around and recognized this behaviour. if you look carefully there is nothing overlaying the listnum field in my example. even if it does not touch the description field or overlaying the list field a little. you will not see it in "action" .

if it is not to much hassle, try it for yourself and move the listnum to a place where it is right or left from list field and tell me your results. it would be much of help .
