Need help please. GameEx listing Serious Sam 2 editor in Steam game list.

I've tried everything I can think of and what I have read in the forum but I cannot remove the Serious Sam editor from the list. I tried to remove it from Steam but it removes the game as well. For some reason the ediotr is link with the game. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, to clarify, you have one entry for Serious Sam in GameEx and this launches the editor instead of the game itself? And you can't uninstall the editor within Steam without removing the game aswell? And to be sure you actually own (purchased) Serious Sam and didn't install it on a "Free Weekend" or similar promotion? I can't personally troubleshoot this for you but the dev's may have an idea, i just want to make things clear and therefore get a quicker response for you

You'll be asked to provide your GameEx.ini and log as outlined in this post. It will get you where you want to be much quicker

Yes I own (purchased) Serious Sam 2. There is an entry for Serious Sam editor (listed in game list as Serious Sam 2) and another for the actual Serious Sam 2 game. The first one lauches the editor and the second launches the game. For some reason when uninstalling the editor from Steam it also remoes Serious Sam 2. I thought possibly that if I uninstalled the editor it might fix my list problem but the 2 are linked in Steam for some reason. Not sure what to do.

You will need to supply the steam id, path to the file and data in the steam config files. If you look into the steam topics you will be able to see how to get and where this info is.

I also noticed that Serious Sam HD The Second Encounter is coming up as Serious Sam HD The Second Encounter-Demo though it is not a demo. It is the full game.
