Filtering Roms From Lists

Hello,

I just wanted to know whats the easiest way to filter Rom lists, I'm using no-intro sets and some Roms in the list display 3 of the same with different regions. How can I filter these to show only 1.

I would probably just use a map file.

You can also use the rom filter e.g *usa*.zip or if its not a big list go through and press the delete key.

I think both Adultery's or Tom's methods are the way to go. Adultery's Map File Maker is a very nice programme indeed, having used it myself on more than one occasion. Keep in mind that there are also Map files in the Map Files folder in your GameEx directory, where some of the map files give you the choice of displaying only games from a specific region ie. Europe,USA,Japan.

You may find this link very interesting as it has various Map Files, Wrappers etc. The #26 post from fRequEnCy in the link is very interesting as it has some of the more obscure system Map Files. It's definitely worth a look.
