Ho do I remove the "sort by" options in an emulator?

They are in the way of my snap images. I'v tried the advanced wizard and disabled most of the other unnecessary display items, but can't find an option to hide this. Would post my GameEx config, but the forum is slow today and refuses to handle the post.

You could open the theme you're using in Theme Editor and drag the bar off the grid, but it's gonna have side effects (ie the bar will be gone on every screen, not just the emu one.)

If your trying to get rid of the sort by just go into the setup wizard and select the Text/Language option then remove the text for what sort by you want to not have displayed. Such as By Manufacturer ect ... just leave it blank and it will be gone. I have no bad effects what-so-ever doing this at all as I have been testing it alot on several computers and not had anything go wrong.

I want to remove the selection boxes and just display the snap image next to the selected game (as big as possable). This works in my ePSXe because it can't find any info on the games as the are actually *.lnk shortcuts. I imagine that the boxes would be displayed if GameEx could pull up any information on them. There should be an option to disable this somewhere. It's not in the advanced emulator or enable/disable features setup pages in the wizard, it should be though. If i'm missing it or the theme added it that is one thing, but if GameEx has no option to remove it then it should be added.

Adultry: If I remove the grid in the theme editor, will that cause the snap to utilize the extra area, or remain the same size regardless?

Also, can I disable the configuration option within GameEX? I don't need others mucking around with it after I got it all working just right. I'm not seeing that option either. And the wizard can still be ran from the start menu.

Also, can I disable the configuration option within GameEX? I don't need others mucking around with it after I got it all working just right. I'm not seeing that option either. And the wizard can still be ran from the start menu.

yes you can remove the configuration option. its in the "Enable / Disable Features" section from the setup wizard. its called "Enable Configuration App". turn it off, by setting it to "No".

Ah, just missed that one. I guess I will just have to put up with the sort by menu until I can figure out the theme editor. I don't have time for learning it right now with other projects, like seting up all my emulators to work seamlessly (I'm testing out Switchdisc right now). A lot of work, but I'm seeing the results. GameEx rocks. Thanks anyway guys.
