want to connect to 213.171.193.52 when it launches?

I really like gamex and have already donated. I just like to keep tabs on what is taking place on my computers and connections.

I am still putting together my first project and I am sure I will have many more questions before it is all over.

Thanks,

Lon

is that when you are installing the program or is it already installed and you get this when launching the program. If its during installation it may just be trying to download the ambiance music.

it is everytime that gamex launches, it wants to connect to that address, which goes back to www.ripe.net in the Netherlands. I have denied the connect each time.

Its really is nothing to worry about, its just checking one of my web sites for registration and gameex version information, dont know what ripe.net is or why it would go to the netherlands. I will most likely do more with this functionality in the future to let the user know if theres an update available, or auto update.

As I said its deffinitly not malicious or anything.

Thanks Tom,

I didnt really think it was malicious, but I do like to keep tabs on what communications I allow software installed on my machines.
