Holy crap, is anybody else as broke as I am following the (ongoing) Steam Summer Sale!? Seems I can't resist me a good bargain! Here's the damage so far (I'm hoping I don't see anything else I can't live without):

  • Back to the Future: The Game
  • Trine 2
  • Alan Wake
  • Alan Wake: American Nightmare
  • Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (already had this, just not on Steam )
  • Magicka
  • Dragon Age: Origins
  • Machinarium
  • Fallout New Vegas: Old World Blues DLC
  • Fallout New Vegas: Lonesome Road DLC
  • Fallout New Vegas: Gun Runners' Arsenal
  • Fallout New Vegas: Courier's Stash
  • Prince of Persia: The Warrior Within
  • Prince of Persia: Two Thrones

Grand total is less than $45.00 USD, so I I'm probably getting my moneys worth, but c'mon I'm a cheapskate, lol! That's quite a bit of money for me to be dropping on games in a month! Hopefully someone else has a similar story; I need a co-dependent!

I spent £135 on 9 PS2 games last thursday, they are for my collection, they were not sealed but were basically brand new.

Included in the sale were Shadow Of The Colossus, Marvel Vs Capcom 2(Which was sealed), MGS 3 Subsistence and others.

It was cash I had for my B'Day which i never spent.

Oops ... I did it again! (Sorry Britney ) They put up some Magick DLC with a price that was too good to refuse

  • Magicka - Wizards Survival Kit DLC
  • Magicka: Vietnam
  • Magicka: The Stars Are Left
  • Magicka: Nippon DLC
  • Magicka Gamer Bundle
  • Magicka: Robe Bundle

Grand total is now a bit less than $50.00 USD. My wallet curses you Steam!

@KRC - Some pretty good finds in there!

My fiancee puts me on a budget with gaming and dvds, usually about 1 Xbox 360 game every 2 weeks or 5 dvd's every 2 weeks :(

Of course the worst part of it is that most of this gets put immediately into my backlog, meaning someday I may get around to playing these games, but I have no doubt that there are games on here that I'll never play. (Much to my shame)

When my 'collector' mentality meets my 'bargain hunter' mentality the results usually look like this.

Yeah, my wife and I have a similar arrangement. We each budget a monthly ‘allowance’ for ourselves which constitutes our ‘mad money’ for the month (games, computer parts, coffee, and uh … whatever she buys with hers ). If not for the allowance, then yeah my wife would have the same reaction as Adultery’s!

My Mrs doesn't mind games as long as there not COD games, she hates them with a vengeance.

I did purchase 2 more sealed games yesterday, shadow the hedgehog and max Payne non platinum /greatest hits etc...

I'll upload pics when I get chance :)
