It's been a while but i'm still lurking! I just wanted to inform any Phantasy Star fans

out there that PSO2 (jp) has been released! I've been on it since the closed beta and

trust me when i say it is frikkin awesome.

The english speaking community have decided to land on

SHIP-02

SHIP-10

So make sure to choose either when creating your character as you CANNOT change ships

once started! If you choose another ship then well, i hope you speak fluent japanese!

(or are comfortable with loneliness)

European release is scheduled for first quarter 2013 so if you are anxious about using a

jp client you'll be waiting a while, so i will add that i do not speak or read an ounce

of japanese but it is very easy to grasp, me and a few mates managed with no drama so

ultimately your call =)

I'm on SHIP-02 (as are most) so if anyone spots me then holla!

Oh, btw i should probably mention - it's FREE to play! All item, wepons and armor units are

obtainable in the game! Also - mags are back! I'll happily provide any info should anyone

have need

Looks cool enough. I never played any Phantasy Star games though. I was suckered into Final Fantasy instead.

ahhh then you missed out! From personal experience (yes i am that old, i was there from day one - 11 yrs ago!) and honestly if you like rpg's - especially if you like looters then well PSO2 frikkin rocks! PSO was basically the first online rpg on consoles, it was my first for sure! and many others and ff, wow etc came way after (in online terms). PSO basically has a great future landscape (was one of the 1st to do "future" as a concept, as most thought medieval was the way - ??! =/) it's action oriented, has awesome job skills, its free, <-WTF?!! the past idk 8 Phantasy Stars wanted money - this one doesn't and is far superior! - go figure.
