Hi all; I redid my machine with the most recent build as of this posting, but that was after having it sit for several months. The machine I built (I bought two licenses) is designed to have a hidden Operating System; the PC turns on with the main power switch for the cabinet and I had it set up so a keystroke combination would shut the PC down from inside Gameex. Now, with the new menus, I keep setting up the keystroke combination to shut down the PC in the "input" part of setup but it will not work. I am running an older IPAC 28 input keyboard emulator and it works fine for all other features of Gameex but that one. What am I missing? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Did you make the change in the BIOS to allow for shutting down the machine via keyboard?

I think you are referring to the shutdown combo in GameEx. Ill test this shortly and fix it if needed.

Thanks.

Tom.

This is fixed here for the next release. Which should be today. The setup wizard was set to prompt for Virtual Key Codes instead of Direct Input Scan Codes.

Thanks Tom! I admittedly didn't know if the mobo settings were involved or not. :)

I'll install the new version and try it again; I did make the change in BIOS that allows for "Keyboard startup," which was the only option even close, it still didn't work. However, with that change, I was able to map a keystroke combo to "power" within my IPAC software...and that worked, so this is ok for now.
